Celebrate Our 2019 Albarino With a Virtual Wine Dinner Sat., Oct. 17
During pre-pandemic life, our wine releases were epic occasions. Once a new vintage was ready to hit the shelves, we invited our friends and customers to Mount Salem Kitchen for a five-course wine dinner which even included a vertical tasting of the new wine’s predecessor vintages. But due to COVID-19, those dinners have been temporarily halted so we can keep both our staff and clientele safe.
Now, however, starting with the release of our 2019 Albarino, a barrel-fermented and aged round and elegant wine, we want to bring the sights, smells, tastes and even sounds of these consistently sold-out events back to our guests – virtually.
Mount Salem Kitchen will host its first-ever virtual wine dinner this Sat., Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. which will include a three-course dinner for two, as well as a bottle of our 2019 Albarino, for $62.

The dinner will consist of savoy cabbage, pancetta and chickpea soup; chicken piccata with steamed white rice and carrots sauteed with garlic; focaccia made from whole wheat flour and topped with sauteed onions and sage (all of which is grown here!); and a dessert of Italian chocolate.
Guests can reserve their meal by Friday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m., pick it up anytime Sat., Oct. 17 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and then enjoy their wine dinner alongside us and other guests virtually through Zoom, including a toast at 6 p.m., an introduction and question and answer session.

We want to make sure our guests are fully immersed in the Mount Salem Kitchen experience – and that includes sound. So, the dinner will be accompanied by a playlist which captures the eclectic Mount Salem Kitchen vibe – ensuring that for just a few hours, you can feel like you’re back at our farmhouse, enjoying some good food, good wine and good company.
Want to join in on our virtual wine dinner? Reserve your meal by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15 by calling 908-735-9359 or emailing info@mountsalemkitchen.com.
Can’t make it this weekend? We plan to host two dinners per month through March – keep watch on our social media pages for information about the next one.
