Pronounced “sh-pets-la”, spätzle are the iconic noodles of Bavarian and Austrian cuisine, served with goulash, schnitzel or any other entrée. Ours are dried noodles that are shelf-stable, boil quickly in salted water, and should be tossed with a bit of butter or oil while still hot so they don’t clump together. In addition, spätzle can be cooked in advance and quickly reheated in a skillet. ½ lbs. bag, easily serves four as part of a meal.
